Security Technical Program Manager

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of engineers, developers, and other professionals to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. To be successful in this role, you should have strong leadership and technical skills, as well as a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitor progress and proactively identify potential risks or issues
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and activities to ensure project completion
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and other project deliverables
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to project team members
  • Develops and delivers review with executives and department leads for largescale programs, providing transparency into the health, risk, and financials of individual projects
  • Drives requirements scoping, analysis, priorities and planning including interdependencies, business and customer priorities, staffing constraints and schedule optimization across multiple product teams
  • Exercises thought leadership to innovate new processes and procedures within Information Security and Privacy domain. - Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, and driving team results

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering field (e.g., software, electrical, mechanical, materials, etc.), Computer Science, or related STEM field and 10+ years of industry experience - OR - a Master's degree with 8+ years experience in:

  • Software or hardware engineering programs
  • 3+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management or Execution Leadership role
  • Managing programs in large, matrixed organizations
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies, which may include certifications such as CSM or PSM PMP certification


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of driving results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment
