The CSO Test Engineering Team through hardware and software design develop custom test solutions to address the specific test requirements for a wide array of devices. This experienced team provides a full range of performance validation services for precision high-performance integrated circuits used in analog, digital, mixed, and RF-signal processing applications.

Work as part of a test engineering team that develops and maintains test solutions for leading-edge high-performance microelectronics packaging, hybrids, modules, and components. Develop, implement, or improve hardware and software test solutions for products using a variety of technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital and mixed signal test applications for package and wafer test of ASIC devices.
  • Create calibration methods with physical and programmable standards.
  • Design and implement test fixture de-embedding methodology.
  • Design and maintain test applications on an ATE system.
  • Perform circuit board design (schematic capture).
  • Develop wafer sort applications.
  • Integrate test applications with package handlers.
  • Sub-system design, including electrical, mechanical, and digital sub-systems.
  • Create training documents and train Technicians and Operators to be self-sufficient in test operation and maintenance.
  • Calculate Test Accuracy and Uncertainty.
  • Interact and present to internal and external customers as needed.
  • Participate in problem solving Kaizen group events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Ability to use schematics to conduct fault isolation.
  • Experience troubleshooting / debugging electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience writing software for test automation, with knowledge of Delphi, C++, C, or Matlab preferred.
  • Flexibility – Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Effectiveness –Must possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative; Optimally prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects.
  • Experience with electronics hardware design, manufacturing or electrical component test or 2 years or more experience writing software.
  • Experience with Package Test Handlers or Wafer Test Probers.
  • Experience with Rack and Stack or ATE RF or Mixed Signal Test Systems.
  • Preferred – Network administration experience.

(maximum 125 lbs.). The employee is occasionally required to lift more than 50 lbs.; climb; twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view fine resolution on a computer monitor.
