PDX Code Guild is the place you go in Portland, Oregon to start your new career as a Computer Programmer. Run by a team of passionate professionals and licensed by the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

PDX Code Guild has a team of expert instructors who draw from relevant tech industry programming experience and professional instruction skills to give you the best possible start to your new career. The curriculum has been tested and perfected for three years, resulting in nearly all students who have taken the course with the intention of employment finding jobs quickly.

You will learn languages that have been carefully chosen to give you a strong foundation for continuous professional growth, and flexibility in your career. Python is a widely used, yet relatively easy-to-learn language. Many programmers find that students who learn Python first (as opposed to other languages such as Ruby, JavaScript or PHP) have an easier time and more success learning other languages.

At PDX Code Guild, you will become a member of a community of mentors and learners that last beyond graduation. As a member of PDX Code Guild, you receive ongoing support after graduation that includes help with job searches, space to work and study and peer mentoring.
