What You'll Do

  • Help to shape the vision and craft of the strategy discipline on an integrated, multidisciplinary agency team
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with our clients; nurture these relationships and start to understand how this process can assist with the development of additional business in the future
  • Provide oversight to multiple projects on your team at a time, understanding when you need to lean in or empower others. Remain aware of key moments in a project life cycle to monitor the project team’s needs
  • Autonomously run strategy on projects as needed on your team, leading by example to your other strategists and instilling core Instrument strategy knowledge as you go
  • Operate with high emotional intelligence, leading and guiding the team through all moments of a project with optimism and solutions
  • Understand the strengths of the strategy team and work with team leadership on casting to ensure project success
  • Provide mentorship to strategy team members by providing methodologies as applicable to the project, and course correct projects as needed to ensure project success
  • Design and facilitate workshops that inspire both internal and external teams
  • Play a key role in the concepting phase of creative development, facilitating team brainstorms and bringing ideas to life with fresh thinking
  • Glean smart insights or truths upon which creative concepts can be built. Use these insights to support your team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to quickly understand a variety of clients’ business and translate the intricate nature of the work we are doing for them. Encompassing and highlighting details that might have otherwise been missed
  • Advocate for the voice of the user: balancing user needs, client objectives and the needs of your team
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research into the brand, audience and competition. Present concepts and recommendations in a compelling and impactful way to clients and internal teams
  • Craft a vision for clients and present concepts and recommendations in a compelling and impactful way
  • Lead the definition of consumer mindsets, experience principles and opportunity spaces to inform creative
  • Craft brand and campaign narratives and define messaging frameworks that guide asset creation and execution
  • Develop strategies and implementation plans for marketing executions
  • Create and sustain positive relationships and collaborations across client and project teams
  • Keep momentum and rhythm in your daily work in order to deliver consistently and efficiently
  • Approach your work with an open, flexible outlook and a focus on effective influence
  • Engage with a positive attitude and impactful presence within the larger team and clients to produce the best possible product and results

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years experience
  • 3+ years of experience supervising junior strategy team members
  • Broad set of strategic skills and experiences across digital product, digital content, information architecture, user experience and interaction design, mobile applications, and product innovation
  • Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative research frameworks and techniques to gain informed insights to drive creative vision and concepts
  • Experience designing, leading, and synthesizing remote and in-person workshops with senior to C-suite level clients leveraging strategic design-thinking frameworks
  • Experience in successfully collaborating within large multidisciplinary teams

Pay Range

  • The expected pay range for this position is $135,000-$160,000 for our base US Region 3*. We have three regional pay ranges that are adjusted for cost of living (US1 +15%, US2 +7.5%, US3 Base), learn more about our pay philosophy and cost of living adjustments *here.
