What You'll Bring:

  • Experience working in Java development, relational databases, Linux, and containerization
  • Use a collaborative and cross-functional team approach to help develop high throughput, highly available, horizontally scalable services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, proactively recommend solutions, and solve complex problems

We’d love to see:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Java development
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, Kafka
  • Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure

Impact You'll Make:

  • In the first 90 days – research and become familiar with existing technologies and architecture standards, participate in team planning ceremonies, and understand our development pipeline
  • Beyond 90 days – effectively advocate and communicate on code and process improvements, provide code snippets, examples, integrations, and comment on development design and solutions presented by development teams
  • TransUnion’s Global Fraud Solutions group provides a leading intelligent fraud prevention platform. This role is expected to participate in up-front design, ensuring built-in quality, deploying code into production, and monitoring the health of the services

Pay Scale Information :

The salary range for this position is $78,430.00 - $128,700.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
