Product Marketing Manager, Product Led Growth

We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-oriented individual to join Trimble Construction as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Lead Growth, on the CMS team. Product Marketing Manager, Product Lead Growth will lead the creation of usage and adoption metrics and reporting enabling the organization to identify product engagement success and opportunities.  Ultimately these efforts will feed Annual Recurring Revenue growth through improved ACV bookings and reduced churn.  The role will lead and work closely with the product, marketing, sales, customer success, and other teams to achieve the team’s adoption, usage, and retention objectives and drive product-led growth for the business. This role will have a strong emphasis on the creation, execution, and optimization of growth programs directed at product adoption & usage. Success in this role means you are able to design, launch and analyze holistic programs to drive business goals and engagement across CMS products.

The ideal candidate is an analytical self-starter, motivated to dive in and learn by doing. He or she can ramp up quickly, partner well with cross-functional teams, and work efficiently and effectively against goals.

You will:

  • Have a holistic understanding of the purchase, adoption, usage, and retention funnel across product touchpoints
  • Develop highly visible metrics and targets for usage, adoption, and product lead growth - presented regularly throughout the organization (including executives)
  • Lead the ideation and execution of programs that drive product growth for our business, partnering closely with product, engineering, data, UI/UX, legal, revenue operations, customer success and support.
  • Drive the product adoption, usage, and retention campaigns by collaborating with product, creative, and operations teams to develop clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging in and across channels
  • Generate data-driven hypotheses for improving product adoption, usage, and retention performance, design and execute A/B tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics (e.g. sample size, significance) to separate signal from noise
  • Analyze findings, report on KPIs, and present recommendations to a broader group of stakeholders week over week to drive visibility around incremental optimizations
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing teammates across products to conceive of acquisition and lifecycle marketing campaigns, as well as identify goals and key performance indicators for programs to ensure holistic alignment
  • Lead the development of best practice implementations of email, in-product, and other campaigns across channels, including set up of audiences, tracking and reporting
  • Manage the product optimization technology stack
  • Analyze program metrics, report on KPIs, and present optimization recommendations for both marketing and web campaigns to the product marketing team
  • Ensure timely completion of all project milestones while keeping all involved teams informed

You have:

  • A BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a SaaS software environment
  • Minimum of one year in product lead growth environment, including familiarity with product usage instrumentation, in product training and marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, or other analytical role
  • Experience working with users and customers to understand why they adopt products and why they don’t
  • Experience working with creative teams and marketing channel specialists
  • Demonstrated track record developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Superior project management, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative ability, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial environment where change is common
  • Experience with product optimization tech stacks, including  testing platforms and analytics tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement with the ability to take an idea and bring it to life with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Pendo, Salesforce, New Relic, Aha,  a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; basic competency in SQL a plus. Foundational knowledge in SQL is helpful with data visualization tools
