About this Role // Extensis has just launch a new asset management flagship product called Connect.   As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be on the forefront of Extensis' initiatives to bring industry-leading functionality to the product.  You'll bring seasoned expertise and technical leadership to the organization and will be a key player producing stellar code.  You'll periodically be working with IT, Product Managers, and Quality Assurance to bake in value and quality.  You'll be part of a team that values everyone's ideas, operates as a unit, and enjoys showing up to work each day.

What You’ll Do // Your responsibilities as a Senior Engineer will include:

• Develop software to help creative designers develop visual media and to manage intellectual property
• Evolve Extensis Connect to add customer value
• Work with peers and designers to create best-in-breed software
• Monitor and architect for scalability as demand grows
• Participate in ongoing support to ensure the best customer experience
• Champion product and process improvements
• Mentor junior teammates

What You Bring // In addition to a positive attitude, a desire to learn and a passion for what you do, the ideal candidate will also have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience working on web applications
• Creative problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The discipline required to write good unit tests and experience doing so
• In depth experience with DevOps, in particular with AWS
• A thorough knowledge of nodejs, Reactjs, RESTful APIs, SQL, and networking
• Experience with Jenkins and Sonarqube
• A major plus: experience with software security and identity, in particular Okta
