Technical Sales Specialist

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AI Technical Sales Leader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the technical sales strategy and execution of our AI solutions to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). You will play a pivotal role in identifying customer needs, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful sales outcomes. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Understand customer business challenges and leverage AI technology to develop tailored solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate AI solutions to potential ISV clients, showcasing the value and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, providing expert guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Understand competitor offerings and effectively position our AI solutions in the market.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including technical decision-makers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI technology.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following traits:

  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Datacenter hardware and software trends and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid experience in delivering technical presentations and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients (10-15 percent travel expected).


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in either technical roles or sales.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably with a focus on AI or related technologies.
  • Relevant certifications in AI or sales (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, HubSpot Sales Software Certification) are a plus.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
