The Team You Will Join:

Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will join a People and Places organization, leading a growing team of Culture, Diversity & Belonging practitioners who are responsible for shaping culture through various enterprise-wide initiatives that are aimed at increasing employee engagement and productivity, as well as enhancing diversity, inclusion and belonging.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Execution

  • Design and oversee the execution of large, complex Culture and D&B transformation initiatives that optimize stakeholder buy-in and enterprise-wide adoption
  • Work closely with executive leadership to ensure that Autodesk’s Culture Code is aligned to the overarching business strategy and operationalized in all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Lead the ongoing monitoring, accountability, and reinforcement activities for sustainable Culture and D&B progress
  • Continuously embed culture into all aspects of the employee experience through work practices, systems, policies, and processes
  • Increase the diversity of our purpose-driven workforce and further enhance a culture of belonging
  • Partner closely with Executive Leadership, Chief People Officer, and the People & Place leadership team to evolve Autodesk’s D&B 3-year strategy
  • Ensure that Diversity & Belonging is embedded in all learning and talent processes
  • Establish, analyze, and provide metrics and status updates for our Culture and D&B strategy initiatives to leadership, including individual CEO staff diversity dashboard metrics consultation, quarterly CEO staff updates, data governance strategy, and execution
  • Ensure that Autodesk’s hybrid first approach to work continues to build a culture of belonging, connection, and productivity

Partnerships and Collaboration

  • Influence business leaders through building trust and inclusivity, strategic framing of issues, and leveraging increased use of data to influence outcomes
  • Partner deeply with the People & Places Employee Insights team to monitor employee engagement and diversity data and metrics to continually respond to the needs of Autodesk’s growing population of global employees
  • Act as key stakeholder and Culture, D&B subject matter expert on all talent processes to ensure fairness and equity in the talent ecosystem
  • Collaborate with learning and development and our HRBP, People Consulting, COE, and Legal and Finance business partners to arrive at effective strategies and execution plans for the adoption of culture and D&B initiatives in the business
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders and leaders to assess change capacity and organizational readiness and strategically pace, prioritize, and implement transformation efforts

ESG & Communications

  • Represent Culture and D&B in all ESG-related activities, including ESG steering committee, investor relations, and external engagements
  • Partner closely with brand and communications teams to drive external communications that include but are not limited to Autodesk’s D&B annual report and external facing website, blogs, and overall D&B external brand
  • Contribute to Autodesk’s EVP and talent attraction effort by championing Autodesk’s Culture and Diversity & Belonging successes externally

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years’ experience or equivalent managing a global function in a complex and fast-paced business environment, interfacing directly with executive leadership
  • Proven success in launching large-scale culture transformation initiatives that result in better alignment with business objectives and increased employee engagement
  • Successful in setting and executing strategic D&B and/ or Culture direction at a large global company
  • Extensive experience in conceptualizing, analyzing, and synthesizing data to inform strategic decisions
  • Extensive knowledge of Culture and D&B best practices
  • Expertise in directing and consulting organization-wide development and change initiatives
  • Desire to continually drive fresh thinking and new approaches to systems-based challenges
  • Deeply committed to embedding D&B into Autodesk’s culture and people strategy vs. a set of stand-alone initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in D&I, OD, L&D, or Business or related field or equivalent
