About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software solutions across web and backend systems. You will be working closely with a team of Software Engineers and Data Scientists. Our stack features some of the most exciting technologies out there, including Azure and AWS services.
Your day-to-day will include more than writing code. You will have the chance to use your expertise and knowledge to discuss the architecture of the platform we are building and help guide its evolution. Your experience with user-centered design and agile practices will be a plus.

Functional Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and scale web applications to support core business functions and deliver high-performance user experiences across platforms.
• Contribute to building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks ensuring a consistent look and feel.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following team conventions and best practices.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development team.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the development process.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 -2 years of full-time experience developing commercial software.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Hands on experience with (Bash, Git, REST, GraphQL, SQL)
• Experience with Cloud Based Software Engineering (AWS, Azure, EC2/Lambda, Linux, CI/CD, GitHub)
• Web Application and Web Server programming expertise (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, React or similar)
• Understanding of server and application maintenance (SSL certificates, dependencies, libraries, software updates)
• Ability to work autonomously while also reaching out for help when questions arise.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and users to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Please note: This is a remote position; however, due to business requirements, candidates must reside and work in the State of Oregon to be considered.
Nice to have:
• Experience with data science, AI principles, and algorithm design is a plus
• Track record of building, testing and deploying Software with security and privacy at the forefront.
