Your Challenge

  • Execute procedures for the deployment and configuration of PacStar products
  • Document system information for PacStar and customer records
  • Work with PacStar’s Software and Systems Engineering to integrate software updates into a reproducible production workflow
  • Ensure software configuration meets customer requirements and PacStar internal standards
  • Define and implement procedures/scripts for configuration and testing of software installed on PacStar systems prior to shipment
  • Performance requires physical attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise

  • 5+ years in IT, system administration or similar field
  • A.S. in IT, CS, or equivalent experience, strongly desired
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, strongly desired
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, required
  • Experience with PC hardware and troubleshooting, required
  • Experience with PowerShell and batch scripting, a plus
  • Experience with multiple VPN implementations, both site-to-site and remote access, a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent Professional that can perform job assignment with limited supervision
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
