PDX Java User Group

PDX JUG is a community of users of the Java programming language located in Portland, Oregon. We welcome speakers from diverse backgrounds who want to explain Java related technologies that our members can take back and use right away. We ask speakers who are in part describing their company's product to also give the audience information that they can use regardless of whether they use said product.

Various companies located in Portland sponsor our meetup by purchasing food, beverages, and/or providing meeting space. This sponsorship helps them increase brand recognition and attract high quality job applicants, but also helps establish Portland's tech scene as an active and diverse community of people who enjoy sharing knowledge about cutting edge technology.
